What is Vibroacoustic Therapy?
Vibroacoustic therapy is a gentle, non-invasive treatment that uses low-frequency sound vibrations to support the body’s natural healing processes.
These vibrations travel through the body to promote cellular regeneration, restore balance to the nervous system, and encourage deep physical and emotional relaxation.
Clinically studied for its therapeutic effects, vibroacoustic therapy has been shown to help reduce pain, ease muscle tension, improve circulation, and calm the mind. It can be used as a stand-alone therapy or integrated alongside medical and psychotherapeutic treatments to enhance overall outcomes.
Research and clinical practice suggest that vibroacoustic therapy may assist in the management of:
Insomnia
Anxiety and stress
PTSD
Arthritis
Parkinson's Disease and Alzheimer's
Sport injuries
Menstrual pains
Headaches, Migraines
Fibromyalgia/Fibrositis
What to expect
When you first arrive, you will have a short consultation with your therapist to discuss the issues or conditions you wish to target and your intended outcome for the session.
You will be invited to remove your shoes and lie down, fully clothed, on our treatment bed. You will be covered with a weighted or regular blanket, provided with eye covers and headphones.
Your therapist will select the frequencies and music to address the issues discussed in the consultation and will turn on the equipment.
You will begin to hear the music through the headphones and feel the vibration through the bed.
Sessions can take between 15 and 60 minutes, depending on your selected booking time.
When the session is over, your therapist will gently turn down the vibrational frequencies and music.
