Terms of service.
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all vibroacoustic treatment and related services (“Services”) provided by Alunah Frequency Wellness (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you, the client (“you”, “your”). By booking, attending, or participating in a session, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
2. Nature of the Service
Vibroacoustic treatment is a complementary and relaxation-based practice that uses low-frequency sound and gentle vibration through a vibroacoustic bed to support relaxation and wellbeing. It is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or physiotherapeutic care. No claim is made that vibroacoustic treatment diagnoses or cures any condition or disease.
3. Client Responsibilities
By booking a session, you confirm that you are 18 years or older; have truthfully disclosed all relevant health information including heart conditions, epilepsy, pregnancy, recent surgery, or implanted medical devices; and will immediately inform the practitioner if you experience discomfort, dizziness, or anxiety during the session.
4. Booking, Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Bookings may be made online, by phone, or by direct contact. If payment is not required at the time of booking, we ask that clients provide at least 24 hours’ notice if they need to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in future booking restrictions or, at our discretion, a request for prepayment before future appointments. Repeated short-notice cancellations may impact future booking availability. We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel appointments in the event of practitioner illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.
5. Fees and Payment
All session fees are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Payment is due at or immediately following the appointment. Prices are subject to change with notice.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, you acknowledge that vibroacoustic therapy involves gentle vibration and sound that may not be suitable for everyone. You participate voluntarily and at your own risk. We are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation except in cases of negligence. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Privacy and Confidentiality
We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and relevant Victorian privacy laws. All personal and health information you provide will be kept strictly confidential and used only for delivering and documenting sessions, maintaining client records, and contacting you regarding appointments.
8. Health and Safety
Please arrive on time, well-hydrated, and not under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs. We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a session if it is deemed unsafe or inappropriate to continue.
9. Intellectual Property
All written materials, sound frequencies, and methods used by Alunah Vibration are the intellectual property of the practice or its licencors and may not be recorded, copied, or reproduced without written permission.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Victorian courts.
